PSG rout Villarreal 6-0 behind early burst, Ruiz double

Paris Saint Germain buried Villarreal 6-0 at Estadio de la Cerámica, and the game was gone by the 17th minute. PSG scored four times in eight minutes in the first half and never looked back.

João Neves started it in the 9th minute, scoring from very close range after a corner. Désiré Doué made it 2-0 in the 12th, set up by Maghnes Akliouche. Senny Mayulu made it 3-0 a minute later. Fabián Ruiz finished the run in the 17th, again from an Akliouche assist, for 4-0.

Ruiz was the player of the game with a Chirp Rating of 8.6. He scored twice and completed 95 accurate passes. His second came in the 50th minute, a left footed finish from Vitinha's set piece delivery that made it 5-0. David Boly added the sixth in the 78th, assisted by Neves.

PSG moved to 4-0-0. Villarreal fell to 1-0-3 and managed no goals. Chirp's Sim had PSG at 53% before the game, so the margin went well past the call.
