Rams beat winless Chargers 24-9 behind 21 straight points

The Rams beat the Chargers 24-9 at SoFi Stadium and moved to 4-4. Los Angeles trailed 9-3 in the second quarter, then scored 21 unanswered points to sink the Chargers to 0-7.

Brandon McManus kicked a 30-yard field goal first for the Rams. Cameron Dicker answered from 34 yards to tie it 3-3, then hit from 46 and 41 to make it 9-3. Kyren Williams ended the half with a 1-yard rush with 19 seconds left, and the Rams led 10-9. Blake Corum ran 23 yards for a score in the third to make it 17-9. Puka Nacua caught an 18-yard touchdown from Matthew Stafford to close the scoring at 24-9.

Trent McDuffie was the player of the game with 9 tackles, an interception and a tackle for loss. Herbert threw for 257 yards but gave it away twice. Nacua had 11 catches for 80 yards, and Corum ran for 73.
