Indiana beats Minnesota 23-16 in OT on Wilson-to-Becker TD

Indiana beat Minnesota 23-16 in overtime at Memorial Stadium. Grant Wilson hit Charlie Becker for a 25-yard touchdown on the first play of the extra period to end it. The Hoosiers improved to 8-1. Minnesota fell to 5-3.

Becker was the player of the game with 8 catches for 149 yards and the winning score. Wilson went 9 of 17 for 156 yards and a touchdown. Lee Beebe Jr. added 84 yards on 15 carries.

Minnesota's Drzewiecki opened with a 37-yard field goal, and Indiana answered with a 9-yard Hoover pass to Marsh for a 7-3 lead. Drake Lindsey found Voss from 39 yards to put Minnesota up 10-7. Radicic tied it at 10 with a 46-yard field goal in the third. Drzewiecki made it 13-10 with a 51-yarder, and Radicic tied it at 13 from 34 yards. Drzewiecki hit from 60 to make it 16-13 with 19 seconds left. P. McAteer answered from 60 yards with two seconds left to tie it at 16 and force overtime.

Chirp's Sim gave Indiana an 87% chance before the game.
