Galaxy and LAFC draw 2-2 after LAFC erase two-goal deficit

LAFC came back from two goals down to draw the LA Galaxy 2-2 at BMO Stadium. Two goals in a nine-minute span of the second half undid Joseph Paintsil's brace.

Paintsil, the player of the game with a Chirp Rating of 8.1, put the Galaxy ahead in the 34th minute. He finished from the centre of the box into the bottom left corner after Robert Taylor set him up on a fast break. He struck again in the 51st, a left-footed finish from very close range, to make it 2-0. He took three shots in all.

LAFC answered within two minutes. Denis Bouanga scored in the 53rd from the centre of the box. Leo Walta tied it in the 62nd with a close-range finish into the bottom left corner. Neither side scored again.

The Galaxy move to 10-10-11. LAFC are 12-11-9. Chirp's Sim had LAFC at 55% before the game, and it missed on the draw.
