   Well, you write Milan off at your peril. They now go joint top of the group with Real. They really regrouped in the second half and were worthy winners. Real will be kicking themselves for not creating more with their possession. It's all to play for in Group C. See you next time.

   That's that! Milan triumph in the Bernabeu! They were rotten in the first half but much better in the second half. Goalkeeping errors galore, poor defending but what a good game. Pato grabs a double, and was excellent, while Milan also had a perfectly good goal ruled out.

   Marcelo is carded after flying in on Oddo. Minimal contact but it was a lunge.

   Drenthe and Kaka exchange angry words as a pass goes astray. Ronaldinho comes off and Flamini is on.

   ALonso picks up the ball and whacks it goalwards but Dida is down smartly to save, then Ramos heads over from the corner. Three minutes added...

   Terrible marking from Real. Pato was all alone at the back post but what a finish. A sidefooted volley that was past Casillas in a flash.

    Ronaldinho is lucky not to get a card after that melee, he gave Raul a little back handed slap as the Madrid captain tried to separate the warring players but the ref missed it.

    More drama! Thiago Silva bundles the ball in from the corner but the ref rules it out then there is a 20-man brawl in the penalty area! It looked like a perfectly good goal. Raul and Nesta are booked for the handbags.

    Casillas has redeemed himself! Pirlo has another go, Pepe gets in the way but it ricochets into Pato's path and Casillas saves his shot with a leg.

    What drama! Kaka fires a shot in, Dida spills it and Raul chips it over him before Zambrotta cleared it off the line. Raul was offside though, so perhaps we should all calm down a bit.

    Pirlo looks like he's taken a knock as Ramos tackled him. It looked fairly innocuous though.

    Ronaldinho gets a hand up from the referee after Pep brings him down. He looks at it though, for the first time in the game.

    Brilliant from Raul there. Alonso was taking his time to get over to the corner so the striker pegged it over, took it to Drenthe on the edge of the box and he drills a left foot shot into the bottom corner.
