Alas, they were dreadful at the back, and, with Palacio and Cassano, Inter stretched them at will. Fortunately for AVB, his decision to attack did not completely backfire.
And breathe. Tottenham have made it into the last eight, but boy did they make hard work of that. After the first leg, this should have been a comfortable away performance, one of keeping it tight and letting the 90 minutes drip away.
