    Dortmund creat a chance from a cross and it falls to stand in striker Schieber but he can't get any power on his header and Hart scrambles his body to the ball.

    Finally Nasri produces some class - he feeds Nasri down the left allowing the striker to square along the goal line, but Schmelzer beats Tevez to the ball and clears the danger.

    Dortmund's passing game is going strong - about 20 and counting - and eventually they force a throw next to the byline before being flagged for offside.

    Dortmund have looked comfortable in possession, and fully capable of keeping City at bay so far - but the hosts' attacking threat isn't posing any danger either.

    A defensive mistake allows City possession in the Dortmund half but Tevez is offside when the ball comes to him. Sloppy from Dortmund, sloppy from Tevez.

    Dzeko is played through by Nasri in what looks like the first chance but the Bosnian striker is flagged offside.

    No proper chances created by either side so far, both goalkeepers are marginal figures as the teams jostle for supremacy around the park.
