Real Betis vs Chelsea

Liverpool are three clear of Chelsea in this group now while Betis's hopes remain alive. All the action will be brought to you here.

John Terry has a go at the ref but in their hearts Chelsea know they've not been anywhere near their best. Betis undid all the odds and well done to them.

Time ticking on. This is an amazing result. Ball will be pumped in for a final chance for Chelsea. Punched away. Chelsea have lost! The first this season! Joyous scenes.

Lampard's cross cleared. No decent ball for them. Fernando misses a chance to get a cross in.

Chelsea have a throw. Injury-time now. Desperation. Dani booked for stopping a quick free-kick.

Joaquin wins the ball and then Duff runs into him. Betis have another free-kick. Duff booked - Chelsea's fifth.

Betis will take their time. Joaquin bends in. Cleared by Lampard. Wright-Phillips loses a throw in.

Carvalho clears as Joaquin crosses. Lampard's pass is poor. Juanito clears. Ferreira forced to foul Edu. Crowd cheers as a free-kick is given.

Dani nearly got in there. Chelsea looking desperate and a little lacking in any idea up front.

Betis's play is getting ragged. Dani milks a clash with Gallas. Lampard looks angry. Joaquin and Makelele share a joke. And a cuddle. Shades of Alan Birchenall and Tony Currie from the 70s.

Even Lampard is off his game. Wayward shot. John Terry is pushing forward. Shades of the Huth strategy employed in last year's semi?

Essien has a shot. Contreras muffs it. It's in the net but there's a flag up for an Essien push.

Still time left here. Ferreira is tackled. Ragged stuff from the Londoners.

Juanito panicked into clearing the ball. Dani panics now. Betis looking nervous.

Terry handballs. Edge of the box free-kick chance. Joaquin will hit it of course.

Dani down injured. He's taking his time. As should be expected. It's looking like his night.

Amazing sequence. Duff down the left. Great ball just evades Drogba. Wright-Phillips crosses. Essien strikes. Off the post. And the other. And into the hands of Contreras. Is this Chelsea's night?

Yellow for the man for the Ivory Coast. Betis are doing their job in breaking up play.

Drogba plays on when the whistle blows. He gets involved in a deer-style horn-locking with keeper Contreras. He had a kick at Melli too.

Robben has stormed off. He's not looked happy in some time. Perhaps he should do a warts-and-all interview on Chelsea TV.

SWP is penalised for foot-up. Though considering the protagonist, no-one's head has been endangered.

Tempers fray as Carvalho and Melli clash. The Betis man is booked.

Duff on for the ineffective Robben. He's needed. Joaquin at the other end gets round the back but doesn't get the cross in.

Makelele and Dani clash. But the claim for an elbow is denied by the ref.

Essien tries to shoot. It's a terribly poor attempt. Contreras waves it past ironically.
