Athletic looked home and dry, and then one corner changes the complexion of the tie. Maybe, just maybe, Valencia now just have a sniff of going through.

So a game with a goal at the death of injury time in both halves. What drama!

And that's full-time!

It's a goal which could Costa Atletico! Tino Costa's corner, Courtois slipped and there was Ricardo Costa with the simple task of heading home a crucial second for Valencia!

Piati goes down very softly in the box under the challenge of Miranda. It's no penalty but they get a corner.

A Mexican waves goes around the Vicente Calderon as the home fans begin to dream of a trip to Bucharest next month.

Awful show from Tino Costa 22 yards out, slashing a shot way into the stand to the right.

Well shows what I know, four added minutes.

Can't image there will be too much injury time - and Valencia will be glad of that.

Atletico have two subs left to run down the clock.

Atletico look happy with this now, not pushing the pace any more.

After that goal I'll have to snatch the man of the match award back from Diego and give it to two-goal Falcao.

Valencia are on their knees now. That Falcao goal the kind of body blow which surely they cannot come back from.

Atletico Madrid have scored more goals in the last 15 minutes of games than any other side in this season's Europa League.

Radamel Falcao joins Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as the top scorers in the main phase of this season's Europa League. Both have netted 10 times.

You really have to make sure you see that Falcao goal. Top, top drawer stuff. Foot like a traction engine.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> During the celebrations Jonas was replaced by Aduriz.

Falcao is played in over the top and he chests it forward, using his power to stay ahead of the defence. He cuts back inside onto his left, it looks as though there's nothing on and then smacks an unbelievable effort in off the underside of the bar in the right corner.
