    Campbell looks set to shoot but pulls the ball back for Pembridge. The Blues have over played it and when the shot finally comes Pearce blocks it.

    Now it's Defoes turn. He sends Stubbs the wrong way, cuts inside but can only conjure a weak shot that Wright collects at his near post.

    Everton really on the attack now as Rooney latches onto a bobbling ball in the box. He spins and turns and the Hammers eventually manage to clear.

    Campbell plays a one-two with Rooney and tries to pick out Pembridge on the edge of the box. Dailly makes the clearence.

    Rooney turns Pearce on the far touchline and the defender has to hack him down. Freekick.

    West Ham are pushing forward for the equaliser and Everton are looking for another goal themselves.

    Rooney gets behind the Hammers defence and drives into the box from the right. Repka uses all his experience to muscle the youngster off the ball.
