   For Spurs the problems of conceding goals continues but so does their happy scoring touch. They move back up to the higher echelons of the table just behind Arsenal. For West Ham it's four out of five games lost and the wooden spoon position. A hard season ahead for Glenn Roeder.

   Cole runs hard. Iversen tackles and that's the last of it. Spurs have won 3-2 in a thrilling second-half show.

   The youngster, who's had a great game in defence, discovers a scoring touch. Spurs have found a real gem in Gardner.

   Ball headed out. Thatcher throw to Gardner. He runs on from the halfway line. The defence opens up for him. He shoots and a deflection off Gary Breen directs it past James. 3-2 to Spurs!

   Defoe, down in the corner, can't force a free-kick. Cisse fouls Bunjecevic. Through ball from Sheringham just evades Ziege.
