Chelsea vs Stoke City

Full time and the holders move into the semi finals of the FA Cup. They deserved their win. Stoke never really troubled them, even with their aerial bombardment, and the Blues are looking odds on to retain their trophy. Thanks for your comapny.

Lampard springs Anelka through but he's wasted another great chance by sliding his shot wide.

Drogba's chip is claimed by Sorensen. Blow the whistle ref.

The game is petering out, as Stoke's corner comes to nothing.

Lawrence wins a corner and tries to take it quickly, but the ball was rolling so it is brought back.

The game's first yellow card is shown to Terry for pulling Fuller's shirt.

Landon Donovan has just made it Everton 4-1 Hull with a tidy finish.

Hilario flapped again and Faye heads over. There was a big crowd scene in there and the centre half couldn't direct his effort.

Fuller looks like he's turned Alex but then the Brazilian gets a foot in. Throw in.

Lawrence swings in a free kick but Faye's looping header lands on top of the net with Hilario scrambling.

That should have been three as Chelsea break, ANelka runs at Huth, then feeds Lampard on the overlap but his first touch is rotten and his cross is then right at Sorensen.

Good ball in from Lawrence but Alex rises to nod clear again. He's been excellent.

Very poor from Fuller, who strays offside just as Delap tries to find him.

Lampard looks like he's about to cross but instead hammers a shot to the top corner but Sorensen is equal to it.

Chelsea stroking passes around calmly now. Stoke look a little lost at present.

Chelsea seem to have got the measure of Delap's throw in now, as Drogba heads yet another one away.

Well, that should be that for this cup tie, unless Stoke can produce two goals in 20 minutes.

Terry makes a decent move in front of his marker to meet Lampard's corner and power a header into the net. He then flexes his muscles as he celebrates with the Chelsea fans in the corner. I feel rather queasy all of a sudden.

Now Alex gets up from the corner and only another intervention from Wilkinson prevents a goal.

Great Chelsea move as Drogba turns inside the area and stands up a beautiful cross but Wilkinson does really well to block and prevent a second goal.

Anelka gets down the right channel and tries to cross and though Chelsea appeal for handball as Faye blocks it hit his midriff.
