Demba Ba's goal deserved to win any game, and Chelsea will now hope he can repeat that against Man City in the semi.
United were poor and although they wasted chances to level, they were never convincing in the final third.
It wasn't a great game, but in the second half Chelsea certainly did enough to warrant the win.
